From 2012, We will see a Brand new Team and are enjoying the Divison 2, andare off to a poor start, but slowly bringing themselves up to a good team again. With a few transfers through to help Eggborough, we have become to be a strong team again.

Eggborough Eagles were set to play Drax SSC in a local derby and to see who deserves to be top of the league. With only 3 Games in, it meant so much for Eggborough to beat their local rivals. With an Own Goal happening from a Keith Godfrey header it set up the Eagles to go in front early in the game. With their heads high after winning last week, Eggborough travelled away to face Great Preston FC. Game started with Gareth Westerman scoring from the spot, but it didn't end there! Another goal from Gareth Westerman to put him on 2, 2 goals from Number 10 Striker Micky Corr, but thought was 3 until Number 9 Striker Marc Oldfield felt it power into his gut and then bounced in for Marc to score! 5-0 here until Ste Wood powered through to score a belter to put it 6-0. Eggborough Eagles were to face Sherburn White Rose FC at home in their first ever League game. With 2 headers from number 9 Josh Blackmore, went on to help Eggborough win 2-1. 3 points to Eggborough!!
